  • No. It only listens after you tap or hold the mic, and it stops when you pause, let go or tap again. Supplied never keeps a recording: your phone turns what you said into words, and only the words are sorted.

  • No. You can type the same sentence instead, or add and change things by hand. Talking is just the quickest way, especially with your hands full of groceries.

  • No. Start with your next grocery run, and things get added as you shop and cook. Finish something it didn't know about, and it goes straight on the list.

  • Tap Undo and everything goes back the way it was. Or just say what's right, like “no, two avocados”. You can also fix any item by hand.

  • No. Dish soap, paper towels, diapers, detergent and trash bags count too. The fridge, the freezer, the pantry and the cupboard under the sink all live in one place.

  • Yes. Everyone joins with a six-character code and sees the same kitchen and the same list. When someone uses the last of something, it goes on the list and the others get a heads-up.
